01 — Approach

A logo is the smallest part of the job. I build the whole system around it — the type, the palette, the grid, the way it behaves in Arabic and in Latin, and the rules that keep it intact after I hand it over.

Every project starts with the same question: what should this brand feel like the second someone sees it? Everything after that — the sketching, the grids, the endless proofs — is in service of that one answer.

11 identities across law, hospitality, automotive, fashion and FMCG. Every case study below is the full presentation, slide for slide.

01 Veer — Brand & Identity Design

Veer

Veer Coffee — 2025

A coffee brand built for motion. The mark is drawn as a set of vertical strokes that read as speed, then carried across cups, cans and lifestyle photography shot against deep automotive reds.

02 Serv.X — Brand Identity

Serv.X

Serv.X Motors — 2025

An automotive service identity built on engineering precision. A tight geometric mark, a strict black-and-white grid and a single signal red carry the system from stationery to signage.

03 Brouq — Brand Identity

Brouq

Brouq — Qatar — 2025

A fashion and lifestyle label rooted in place. The identity pairs a restrained wordmark with a script accent, set against deep navy and burgundy drawn from the Qatari coastline.

04 Maknun — Brand Identity

Maknun

Maknun — 2025

Arabic and Latin lettering built as one lockup. Soft gradient fields in cobalt and silver give the stationery a quiet, luminous finish.

05 OTB — Brand Identity

OTB

Al Otaibi Law Firm — 2025

A law firm identity built on restraint and authority. Arabic calligraphy is paired with a fine Latin lockup, foiled onto deep olive and clay papers across correspondence, folders and signage.

06 Ibex — Brand & Identity Design

Ibex

Ibex Café — 2025

A café identity drawn from high ground — the ibex, the mountain and the coffee cherry. Warm neutrals and a hand-built mark hold the system together from cup to storefront.

07 Arkan — Brand Identity

Arkan

Arkan Al-Mughamis — 2025

A monogram cut from two overlapping letterforms, pressed into fluted bronze surfaces. The result is a mark that reads as jewellery at small sizes and as architecture at large ones.

08 Mdina — Brand Identity

Mdina

Mdina — 2025

A custom logotype constructed on a strict modular grid, with each letter drawn to sit flush against the next. Olive and stone keep the palette grounded.

09 Wathab — Brand Identity & Packaging

Wathab

Wathab Beverages — 2025

A beverage range where the fruit does the talking. Illustrated labels wrap the can in colour, with the wordmark cut vertically so it holds on the shelf from any angle.

10 Solaf — Logo & Identity

Solaf

Solaf — 2025

A bilingual lockup constructed from a single organic mark. The geometry is documented end to end, so the logo holds its proportions at every size.

About
Rania

Rania Esam signature

I’m Rania Esam, a brand identity designer. I work with founders and marketing teams who need more than a logo file — they need a visual language their whole business can run on.

My work sits where Arabic and Latin typography meet. Drawing both scripts so they carry the same weight and rhythm is the part I care about most, and it’s what most of my clients come to me for.

Each engagement ends the same way: a complete presentation, production-ready files and a set of rules simple enough that your team will actually follow them.
